The enthusiastic gang at the Missouri Quiz Bowl Association have volunteered, in the person of Charlie Dees, to direct a session at the September 26 MACA Convention entitled "Pyramidal and NAQT Questions in Missouri Explained." As envisioned, the presentation would be "intended to be an explanation of pyramidal quizbowl and the new pyramidal circuit that has emerged locally over the last few years, and how it relates to the new NAQT-written MSHSAA tournament which uses a large (number) of pyramidal questions." This should be a hot-button topic, with talk of shifting the format of the jv state tournament in the spring. Come prepared to discuss!
